Audio Visual Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Audio Visual Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of AV systems, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction. This role will require a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong customer service.

Key Responsibilities

· Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment, including projectors, interactive displays, video conferencing systems, and sound systems.

· Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and provide recommendations.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing on-site and remote support as needed.

· Work closely with clients to ensure systems are installed and operating correctly.

· Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and support, to ensure seamless project delivery.

· Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

· Adhere to health and safety regulations during installations and service work.

Key Skills & Experience

· Proven experience in AV installation, maintenance, and support.

· Strong knowledge of AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, projection and audio distribution.

· Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.

· Experience working with brands such as Biamp, Yealink, AMX, and Crestron or similar is desirable.

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Full UK driving license.

Desirable Qualifications

· CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent certification.

· Electrical or networking qualifications would be an advantage.

· Experience in programming control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX).

Assistant Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities

· Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

· Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations, supplier and customer account reconciliations, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

· Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable.

· General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.

· Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

· Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

· Variance Analysis: Help analyse financial data to identify discrepancies and variances.

· Financial Documentation: Prepare and maintain financial documentation and records.

Key Skills & Qualifications

· Education: Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT,QBE) or equivalent.

· Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar financial role

· Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software preferably Sage 200 and Salesforce, and strong Excel skills is essential.

· Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.

· Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

· Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
