<p><strong>Grandview 16:9 Fixed Frame Acoustic Screen</strong></p><p><br /><strong>Grandview Cyber Woven Series Fixed Frame Screens&nbsp;</strong><br />Grandview is a Canadian screen manufacturer leading the field in commercial cinema screens in Canada and the USA. Grandview&rsquo;s new Cyber series screens, allows the home cinema enthusiast to afford the quality screen modern cinema projectors deserve. The fixed frame Projection screens offer the ultimate in uniformally flat projection surface. Ideal for permanent more dedicated cinema rooms, the fixed frame screen gives a true cinematic experience.</p><p><strong>High Tensioned Surface&nbsp;</strong><br />The multiply vinyl projection screen material is kept under high tension by a unique means found only in Grandview products. Steel bars are inserted into a looped seem that runs round the edge of the material. The bars are then fixed into the aluminium frame, causing the material to be pulled evenly from all four sides.</p><p><strong>Frame Design</strong><br />The super rigid frame is of curved cast aluminium with a black velvet finish that absorbs any stray light from an overlapping picture. The frame secured to the wall via two long aluminium brackets that allow the screen to slide from left to right making it easy to perfectly centre to the room.</p><p><strong>Material&nbsp;</strong><br />The acoustic woven screen material used by Grandview is a similar design used in commercial cinema screens. The material allows sound from rear mounted loudspeakers to pass through with the minimum of acoustic loss while retaining accurate colour saturation and contrast ratio. The material has a low gain rating of 1.1, keeping contrast levels high and offering a wide even viewing angle.</p><p><strong>Other features and measurements&nbsp;</strong><br />Just like televisions, projector screens are measured in imperial feet and inches. The screen is measured by the width of the material from left to right. The standard sizes are 6ft, 7ft, 8ft, 9ft and 10.
